The TD-33 Lion is a tank destroyer developed by Tarsas. It it capable of being used as an assault gun, which is its primary use. It is currently the largest and heaviest gun mounted to an armored vehicle ever built by the Empire. It was designed to deal with Ulthrannic border defense emplacements and armor. All vehicles were retrofitted with upgraded guns in 2003.

Development

The TD-33 emerged as a prototype design by Anacom Industries in light of a 1990 requirement for a heavy assault gun capable of engaging advancing armor from several miles away. The steppes of Eastern Tarsas were of major concern.
