The Mark VI Foxhound is a main battle tank co-developed by Kovrov Armaments and Federov Defense Corporation between 2005 to early 2006. The tank officially entered service in 2009 and succeeded its predecessors, the Mark IV Flatback and Mark V Foxbat as the main armored vehicle of the Federal Ground Forces. While the design was finished during the Winter War, the Mark VI did not see combat, as the Confederation was focusing its resources on producing the Mark IVs and Mark Vs. Production of the Mark VI would not begin full-scale until 2009. Approximately 136,000 Foxhounds have been manufactured and first saw combat during the Northern Nations' Conflict, fought in late 2012.

While its immediate predecessor -- the Mark V Foxbats -- had vertically-faced turret armor, the Mark VIs were designed with angled turret applique armor which greatly improves protection and survivability. It also features digital fire control systems that utilized laser rangefinders, a fully stabilized coaxial machine gun, and advanced night vision and sighting equipment. It's design and improved stabilization allows the Foxhound to engage targets on the move, on rough terrain, and at extremely long ranges.
