The Bourgougian Blitz was a brief but intense military conflict waged primarily between the armed forces of Carloso and Bourgougia in 1987. While tensions between the governments of the two countries had been high since the end of the Emergency War, open warfare only began shortly after the government of Bourgougia assassinated Carlosian President James Moran and invaded the exclave of Victory.
